Anheuser-Busch remains a fixture in Super Bowl advertising this year. They plan to run a total of five minutes of advertising throughout the game. Bud Light is expected to receive the most face time with three spots.
PepsiCo and Coca-Cola are bringing their own competitive match to the Super Bowl ads this year. PepsiCo has arranged to block any other soft-drink marketing from the first half of Super Bowl XLIII. It is rumored that Coca-Cola is looking to strike a similar deal for the third quarter of the game.
Audi will run a 60 second ad in the first quarter of the game. They have not confirmed which car they will showcase this year. Last year Audi’s ad featured the R8 in a spoof of “The Godfather.”
Hyundai will air two commercials introducing the 2010 Genesis-coupe.
Look out for Cars.com’s commercial spots. They are expected to be humorous, as they have been in past years.
Danica Patrick will appear in at least one ad for GoDaddy. In keeping with their suggestive theme, this ad is expected to be borderline inappropriate.
Don’t forget to watch for other brands and funny commercials this year. We look forward to hearing what you think.
